Acceptance
By downloading or using Replace OS, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install the app.
Beta software
Replace OS is in beta. Things break. Features come and go. We will tell you in the changelog when something material changes.
Your responsibility for agent actions
Agents you employ act on your behalf. You are responsible for the consequences of actions you approve. The runtime requires inline approval for destructive tool calls (writes, deletes, shell, MCP-write) precisely because you should be the final decision-maker.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the app to do things that would be illegal where you live.
- Don't try to exfiltrate other users' data — there isn't any to exfiltrate, since the product is local-first.
- Don't abuse managed model access in beta. We may rate-limit if a single user's usage materially affects others.
Billing posture
Beta is free. Post-beta billing runs on two flat plans — Solo at $100/month and Team at $200/month — each including a monthly pool of employee calls and usage credits. Pass either meter and overage applies at a few cents per unit; unused allowance does not roll over. See /pricing for the current posture.

The app is provided “as is.” We make no warranties about fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
